Northern Arizona Healthcare will discontinue its on-site COVID-19 testing in Flagstaff and the Verde Valley. The testing sites at Flagstaff Medical Center and Verde Valley Medical Center will close after Friday. The testing was available through a partnership with Premier Lab Solutions for the past two years. The reason for the site’s closing is due to the availability of COVID testing throughout the communities and the prevalence of home testing kits. There are numerous locations available for anyone to access COVID-19 vaccination and testing. Just log onto Coconino and Yavapai counties websites and click on the COVID-19 pages. Northern Arizona Healthcare says they will continue to monitor the number of positive tests of infectious diseases such as COVID-19, in Northern Arizona and will respond with appropriate options if the community should need additional testing services in the future.
