An amendment for the new Flagstaff City Court facility will either be amended or rejected at tonight’s Flagstaff City Council meeting. The amendment budgets nearly $17-point-five million dollars for 2019, and just over four-million dollars for 2020. If approved, the money will go towards preparing the site for the new facility. City staff is recommending awarding the amendment to Kinney Construction services, and authorizing City Manager Barbara Goodrich to execute essential documents. Money for the new facility was approved by voters in the 2016 election. Council will also hear another presentation on the future plans for the Flagstaff Urban Trail System. Included in this will be review of priorities for the trails, which is something the Flagstaff City Council will get say in. Tonight’s council meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
