Navajo Police issued 179 citations this past weekend after another 57-hour curfew, with 62 coming in Arizona. Officials say 108 were curfew violation citations and 71 traffic violations. In Arizona, there were 48 citations in Tuba City, six in Kayenta, six in Dilkon and two in Chinle. Police manned four roadblocks and saturation patrols in both the western and eastern areas of the Navajo Nation. Officials say traffic was up over the weekend, which police say could be partially due to families getting stimulus checks and in need of supplies.
