The Navajo County Sheriff’s Department had a good year when it came to drug seizures and arrests along Interstate-40 in 2018. Two deputies, along with two K9’s Legend and Zolton, made 102 arrests. Among the drugs seized included over 900 pounds of marijuana, 435 pounds of meth, over eight-thousand pills, four guns and three cars. They also seized nearly 20 pounds of cocaine, nearly ten pounds of heroin and 130 pounds of marijuana wax. The approximate value of the drugs seized was just over three-point-seven-million dollars.
