The NAU men’s and women’s cross country teams won the Big Sky Conference championships Friday. The women started the victory parade with their championship with 37 points, beating second place Weber State by 14. Taryn O’Neal won the individual title for NAU. The men then took to the course in Portland, Oregon. The won the Big Sky title with a score of 30 points, 23 better than second place Southern Utah. Drew Bosley won the men’s individual title, Nico Young was second and Abdi Nur finished fourth. The wins are the 18th for NAU in cross country since the year 2000. Next up is the NCAA Mountain Regionals, Friday November 12th in Provo, Utah.
