The NAU women’s basketball team rebounded nicely from a tough loss Thursday night to Portland State. Regan Schenck scored 21 points and added eight assists to lead the Lumberjacks to 77-67 win over the conference-leading Sacramento State Hornets in the Skydome Saturday. Montana Oltrogge added 18 points and Olivia Moran chipped in with 12 in the win. The loss is the first for the Hornets this Big Sky season. During the game, Schenck moved into eighth-place on NAU’s all-time assist list. NAU will head back on the road for three games. The first stop is Moscow, Idaho where they will battle the Vandals Thursday night. Tip time is at 7 p.m.
