NAU To Send Four To The NCAA Outdoor Track And Field Championships

Four NAU long distance runners will compete for a national title in two events at this year’s NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Austin, Texas. Senior Tyler Day will run in the 10,000 meters after qualifying at the NCAA West Regionals in Sacramento this past weekend. Running in the 5,000 meters at the national championships will be indoor national champion Geordie Beamish, Luis Grijalva and freshman Brodey Hasty. Day ran in the 5,000-meters in Sacramento, but didn’t qualify for nationals. The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place June 5th through the 8th.
