The NAU Swimming and Diving team won its ninth straight WAC Championship Saturday in Houston, Texas. NAU started the day with a 33 point lead and won the title with 770 points, 51-and-a-half points better than the second place Lopes. The Jacks finished with six gold medals, five silver and two bronze. The divers will now get ready for the NCAA Zone Diving meet at the NAU tennis and aquatic center starting Monday, March 7th, while NAU will send some swimmers to the NCAA Championship in Atlanta, Georgia starting Wednesday, March 16th.
