NAU Men Fall At Eastern Washington, Will Finish The Regular Season Saturday At Idaho

The NAU men’s basketball team got off to a strong start, but Eastern Washington went on a 12-0 run the last three minutes of the first half en route to a 69-62 win over the Lumberjacks in Cheney, Washington. Keith Haymon led the Jacks with a career-high 24 points, including six three-pointers. Jalen Cone added 20 and Carson Towt pulled down eleven rebounds in the loss. NAU shot 38-percent in the game, while Eastern Washington 41-percent from three-point range. The Jacks will finish the regular season Saturday afternoon in Moscow, Idaho, then we will see who NAU will play in the first round of the Big Sky Conference Tournament next week. Saturday’s tip time will be at 3 p.m. with the pregame show at 2:30 on KAFF Country 93.5/AM 930 in Flagstaff and Fun Oldies 97.9 in Prescott.
