The NAU Lumberjack football team jumped out to a 21-0 lead against seventh-ranked Montana State, but then the Bobcats outscored the Jacks 49-10 to beat NAU 49-31 in Bozeman. Case Cookus was 26-50 for 273 yards with a touchdown and an interception. The running game did improve this week as Joe Logan had 19 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown. The Jacks had 164 yards total rushing. Penalties were a huge issue for NAU as they had 12 penalties for 121 yards. The Jacks will regroup and get ready for Northern Colorado on Saturday in the Skydome for Family Weekend. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
