The NAU men’s basketball team took on the fourth-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs Monday night in Spokane, Washington. NAU got off to a decent start, but trailed 48-30 at halftime. In the second half, it was all Bulldogs as they outscored NAU 47-19, as they went on to beat NAU 95-49. Jalen Cone had 17 points at halftime, but scored just two points in the second half to finish with 19 points to lead NAU. Carson Towt had seven points and 11 rebounds in the loss. Chet Holmgren led Gonzaga with 20 points and nine rebounds. The Lumberjacks are off until December 30th, when they host the Idaho Vandals in the Skydome.
