Museum Fire Still At 82-Percent Containment With The Monsoon Helping Out The Fight

The Museum Fire remains at 82-percent containment and 1,961 acres burned. Crews will worked Wednesday on removing logs that could clog drainages downstream and other suppression efforts. The concern remains flooding possibilities in the Sunnyside neighborhood and north of Cedar Avenue. Seven hotshot crews, 1 hand crew, 4 helicopters, nine engines and three dozers remain on the fire. The fire started on July 21st and is being investigated as a human caused blaze.
