Starting Sunday, if you ride the Mountain Line you will need to wear a face covering. The Northern Arizona Intergovenmental Public Transportation Authority Board of Directors voted Wednesday to require all bus and paratransit riders to wear a mask or face covering while on vehicles and at stops and connection centers. Riders must wear a face covering that covers both the nose and mouth, and it must remain in place while on a vehicle or stop. Mountain Line will provide a mask for people who don’t have one. Drivers and workers are already required to wear a face covering while on the job. Mountain Line is operating fare-free and only allowing riders in through the rear door of the bus. All buses are fully sanitized each day and high-touch surfaces are disinfected throughout the day. For more information, log onto mountainline.az.gov/health.
