Mountain Line Offers Free Rides For Dump The Pump Day

Mountain Line is offering free service to riders all day on June 20th to celebrate Dump the Pump Day. In addition to free rides, Mountain Line is hosting a rider appreciation event at the Downtown Connection Center from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. with donuts and giveaways. “Dump the Pump Day is the perfect day to give transit a try and see how much money you can save by leaving the car at home,” said Mountain Line CEO and General Manager Heather Dalmolin. “Gas prices can fluctuate, but our passes always cost the same, so leave the driving and the filling up to Mountain Line.” Dump the Pump Day is nationally recognized to encourage people to ride public transportation instead of driving and save money. The first Dump the Pump Day was celebrated in 2006 and since then it is always held on the third Thursday in June.
