A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle accident on eastbound State Route 64 east of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon near Cameron Wednesday evening. DPS officials say a passenger car and a motorcycle collided. The motorcyclist reportedly lost control and slid face first into the back of the car. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were involved. The highway was reopened at around 6:35 p.m.
