More Areas Are Seeing Improved Evacuation Status From The Pipeline And Haywire Fires

More areas are seeing improved evacuation status from the Pipeline and Haywire fires. The neighborhoods that were put in “SET” along both sides of Highway 89 from McCann Estates/Silver Saddle Road, to Timberline/Fernwood and up to Wupatki Estates, have been downgraded to “Ready” status. This also includes the neighborhoods of Girls Ranch Road, Lenox Park, Pumpkin Patch Road, and Hutchison Acres. The area identified as Doney Park North, north of Silver Saddle Road and east of Highway 89 to Slayton Ranch Road, that are in “Set” have been downgraded to “Ready” status. The area previously identified north of the Sunset Crater National Park entrance along, Highway 89 to Sacred Mountain Trading Post, Medicine Valley, along with the area identified as Crater Estates/Alpine Ranchos West will remain in “Go” status. The Pipeline and Haywire Fires are still very active in these areas the fire is in close proximity to private land and area residences.
