A man was arrested Monday on multiple drug and firearm charges in Rimrock. Over the past few months, Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking was given information about a methamphetamine dealer in Rimrock. With enough information gathered, detectives obtained a search warrant and began searching 56-year-old James Crawford’s residence. During the search, detectives found two loaded handguns, one ounce of meth, scales, and drug paraphernalia. Crawford is a prohibited possessor from previous convictions and was taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm as a prohibited possessor, possession of a firearm during a drug offence, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges are also being filed from when Crawford was a suspect in a weapons misconduct in the Village of Oak Creek in July.
