The City of Flagstaff’s policy of wearing masking inside of city facility will change Monday. The Flagstaff City Council decided Tuesday that since CDC guidelines have changed, and Coconino County is now in “medium” spread, masks will no longer be required starting on Monday, March 7th. Buildings that will no longer require a mask for entry include City Hall, the Visitors Center, Flagstaff Aquaplex, the Hal Jensen Recreation Center, the Jay Lively Ice Arena, and public libraries. Although mask mandates have been lifted throughout the city, masks are still required at Flagstaff Pulliam Airport, since this facility is governed by requirements from the federal Transportation Security Administration. The City of Flagstaff reminds the public to wear masks at your own comfort level and respect the decision made by others.
