Many locations were below zero Thursday morning in Northern Arizona. The National Weather Service reports many locations saw subzero temperatures as cold air settles in across the area. Flagstaff just missed zero as the airport had a low of one-degree. Fort Valley and Doney Park were two-degrees below zero. The Grand Canyon Airport was eight-below zero while the Winslow Airport was at one-below. Two areas tied for the coldest in the state. Mormon Lake and St. Johns were 13-degrees below zero Thursday morning. Expect a slight warming trend before the next winter storm affects the region Saturday night.
