Man Missing For Over A Week South Of Flagstaff Has Been Found Dead

A man that has been missing since last week south of Flagstaff, has been found dead. Coconino County Sheriff’s officials say 64-year-old Walter McCassalin was found dead in a forest area west of Interstate-17 near the Kelly Canyon Exit Wednesday. He was last seen just before noon south of Flagstaff at the Kelly Canyon Exit after getting dropped off by his son to visit friends. The friends later confirmed that had not seen or heard from him or his son. The cause of death is not known. The case remains under investigation.
