Authorities have arrested a man wanted for multiple burglaries in the Bensch Ranch area north of Spring Valley. One of the victims lives in the 15-thousand block of East Upper Ridge Lane. The burglaries involved a house, vehicle and RV. The suspect also apparently accessed six properties while in the area. Stolen items include an Amazon tablet from the home, unknown items from the vehicle and a 42-inch TV from the RV. On Sunday morning, deputies were called to an area where a suspicious person was seen in the same area. Deputies found a black Ford Ranger pickup parked outside a gate. Inside they found drug paraphernalia and noticed an amplifier matching the description of an item stolen from a previous burglary. After a short search, a deputy noticed a man running up a hill north of Bensch Ranch Road. He was able to catch the suspect and hold him at gunpoint until he was taken into custody. Authorities arrested 23-year-old Damian Hayes from Mayer in connection with the crimes. He has been booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on multiple charges related to the crimes. He is being held without bond and has warrants out of New Mexico and Kentucky.
