A Flagstaff medical device manufacturer, Machine Solutions, recently donated one-hundred-thousand dollars to Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Children’s Health Center. The money donated will be used for the Children’s Health Center’s Inspire program, which aims to help with childhood obesity and mental health. The Inspire program gives children nutrition guidance as well as resources for anxiety, depression, eating disorders, orthopedic problems, and child lifestyle risk factors. The Children’s Health Center is located in Flagstaff at 5130 North Highway 89 and includes one-on-one care with children as well as outpatient programs such as rehabilitative, audiology, and nutrition services, specialty clinics, and social workers. The donation made by Machine Solutions will also go toward the annual Machine Solutions Run and Walk for Kids. The event is August 6th at Fort Tuthill and all money raised at the event will go to the Children’s Health Center.
