ADOT crews are narrowing lanes of Interstate-40 east of Flagstaff today through Tuesday. Drivers should plan for lane restrictions on both east and westbound I-40 for 12 miles, starting at the Twin Arrows turnoff. Intermittent ramp closures are expected at the Twin Arrows and Buffalo Range exits, which will require motorists to use the next exit to enter or exit I-40. Only one ramp will be closed at the time. Lane restrictions will be in place from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily until next Tuesday, however there will be no restrictions over the weekend. Drivers should slow down and proceed with caution throw work zones and watch for construction personnel will restrictions are in place. The restrictions are needed due to ongoing pavement work on the interstate.
