Investigators are still looking for information into a 19-year-old cold case in Yavapai County. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering at $10-thousand dollar reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with a double murder in 2003 near Bumble Bee. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say back in October of 2003, Brandon Rumbaugh and his girlfriend Lisa Gurrieri, left Scottsdale for an overnight camping trip north of Phoenix. The couple borrowed a 2000 white Ford F-150 pickup truck they were going to return the next day. When they didn’t return, friends and family began to search for them. The search party found the truck in a dirt parking area off Bumble Bee Road a short distance from Interstate-17. They found the couple shot to death in the bed of the truck. Detectives found photos of the couple in the back of the truck, possibly moments before they were killed. There was also a photograph of a light fixture inside a building. The camera was found 100 feet from the scene with some of the photos intact. If anyone has information about the case, call 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip online at yavapaisw.com.
