Motorists traveling through Holbrook can expect daytime and nighttime lane restrictions throughout the month of April. Crews will be working on the Hermosa Drive Bridge over Interstate 40 by installing a new bridge deck, guardrails, and barriers. Eastbound motorists will be detoured off exit 286 and proceed on Navajo Boulevard and re-enter at exit 289. Westbound motorists will be detoured off exit 289 and proceed on Navajo Boulevard and re-enter at exit 286. The first closure will be in place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. next Tuesday. Additional nightly closures will be from April 7th through the 9th, the 11th through the 15th, and the 18th through the 20th. The Hermosa Drive Bridge construction is expected to be finished this fall. ADOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution when driving around crews and equipment.
