There were a few power outages around Flagstaff, one closed businesses on Milton for a couple of hours. APS says about 15-hundred customers were without power in the area of Beverly Avenue to Pine Del Drive and Fort Tuthill Loop to Frontier Avenue Friday afternoon. There’s no word on what is caused the outage. There’s was an outage in the downtown area with over 250 customers affected. The outage was in the area of Phoenix Avenue to Mountain View Drive and San Francisco to Oleary Streets. Two small outages also took place in the Fort Valley and Baderville areas. Earlier in the day over three-thousand customers were without power in the University Heights area, up through Milton Road. Wendy’s, Sprouts and other businesses had to temporarily close until power was restored. With strong gusty winds in the forecast through Saturday, we may see a few more outages in Northern Arizona.
