Gas prices around Arizona are up about over five-cents a gallon this week. Triple-A Arizona says the average price of gas in the state is $3.26 a gallon. In Flagstaff, gas prices are up four-cents a gallon this week on average to $3.48 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $3.39 and lower. In Prescott, the average price of gas is up four-and-a-half cents a gallon to $3.24 on average. Some stations are selling gas for $2.99 and lower. Triple-A spokesman Aldo Vazquez says “as long as the price of crude oil remains above $70 per barrel, drivers across the country should expect elevated pump prices.” He says an increase in demand has also led to this week’s jump.
