Gas Prices Rising Again In Arizona With Diesel Fuel Spiking

Gas prices in Arizona are heading back up. Triple-A Arizona says the average price of regular gas in Arizona is $4.64 a gallon, which is up nearly ten-cents a gallon from last week. Diesel fuel is $5.44 a gallon, which is almost 30-cents a gallon more than last week on average. Triple-A says the reason for the rise is demand for gas is up and so are oil prices. The price of oil remains over $100 a barrel, which is keeping prices high and rising. The reason why diesel fuel is high is a low supply of it. Analysts believe if diesel remains high, it will further complicate supply chain issues and will keep consumer goods higher in price. In Flagstaff, the average price of regular gas is $4.73 a gallon on average, which is up three cents a gallon from a week ago. Diesel is $5.55 a gallon, which is up 23-cents a gallon from last week. In Prescott, the average price of regular gas is $4.63 a gallon, which is up nearly five-cents a gallon from last week. Diesel in Prescott is $5.48 a gallon, which is up nearly 30-cents a gallon from a week ago on average.
