Gas prices continue to fall in Arizona due to a couple of factors. Triple-A Arizona says the average price of gas in the state is $5.07 a gallon, which is down more than 13-cents a gallon from last week. Diesel is $5.75 a gallon on average this week, which is down over nine-cents a gallon from a week ago. Spokesman Aldo Vazquez says the price of oil is on the decline along with another big factor. He says, “we are seeing lower demand at the pump.” Vazquez adds, “as fewer people have filled up over the past few weeks.” He warns July is typically the biggest travel month of the summer, so the dip in prices could be short-lived due to possibly higher demand. In Flagstaff, gas prices are $5.05 a gallon on average, which is down nearly five-cents a gallon from last week. Some stations are selling gas for $4.74 and lower. Diesel is $5.88 a gallon, which is down eight-cents a gallon from a week ago. In Prescott, the average price of gas has fallen below five-dollars a gallon, to sit at $4.97 a gallon this week, which is down three-cents a gallon from a week ago. Diesel in Prescott is $5.76 a gallon, which is down four-cents a gallon this week.
