Gas prices are actually down a bit this week in Arizona. Triple-A Arizona says the average price of gas this week is $3.12 a gallon, which is down just over a cent on average. Triple-A Arizona spokesman Aldo Vazquez says we could see some decline. He says “now that the news has come out that OPEC has reached a deal to increase production in August, we could see crude oil prices potentially drop.” However, Vazquez says that probably wouldn’t happen until the end of summer. In Flagstaff, the average price of gas this week was unchanged overall, staying at $3.42 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas at $3.29 and lower. In Prescott, gas was unchanged from last week as well, staying at $3.14 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas at $2.99 and lower.
