Registration for the City of Flagstaff’s Youth Climate Action Challenge is now open. As part of this year’s event, three unique challenges are open to teams of 4th to 12th graders. Students can participate by implementing a climate action project or by designing wind turbines and solar-powered structures to exhibit their knowledge in renewable energy. The challenges are an opportunity to develop leadership experience and illustrate local climate solutions. Registration is free at flagstaff.az.gov/youth. Teams who participate in the challenges will present their projects to local decision-makers, youth leaders, and industry experts at the Youth Climate Summit on April 4th at Fort Tuthill.
