Former NAU Football Coach Jerome Souers Lands At Southern Oregon

Former NAU Football coach Jerome Souers has found a new home. Souers was named last Wednesday as the new defensive coordinator at Southern Oregon University. Souers was the head football coach at NAU for 21 seasons and left after the 2018 season as the Lumberjacks all-time winningest coach. Joining him will be former NAU offensive line coach Tim Davis, who will coach the team’s offensive line. They join the staff of head coach Charlie Hall, who served as offensive coordinator at NAU under Souers from 2001 until 2005. Southern Oregon is an NAIA school that plays in the Frontier Conference.
