Former “Catch 22” Suspect Was Arrested In Prescott Last Month

Former “Catch 22” suspect Aaron Fredrick Pomeroy has been arrested in Prescott. On April 29th, Prescott Police received an anonymous tip that Pomeroy may be in the Prescott area. In the early morning hours, officers found him in the 28-hundred block of Smoke Tree Lane and as arrested without incident. Back in July of 2018, Pomeroy attacked a female victim by hitting her in the face and choking her until she almost lost consciousness. He then proceeded to bite the victim’s neck, rip her clothes off, and threw her down by her chest. Pomeroy then told the victim he was going to get a knife, in which the victim had time to escape. Pomeroy was convicted of aggravated assault, assault, and disorderly conduct. He served jail time and was placed on probation, which he has since broken. Pomeroy remains in the Yavapai County Jail.
