Flood Watch Issued As Hurricane Hillary Makes Its Way North Toward Baja California

Hurricane Hillary is moving closer to the U.S., but edging further west.  The powerful storm is moving northwest nearing the Baja California coastline by midday Sunday.  It is then forecast to weaken and turn slightly more north and nearing the U.S. coastline by early Monday morning.  The National Weather Service says parts of western Arizona could see upwards of two inches of rain.  A Flood Watch is in effect for north central and west central Arizona until 11 p.m. Saturday.  Locations in the watch area include: Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and the Grand Canyon.  Forecasters say rain chances and the threat of flash flooding is possible this weekend.
