Flood Warning In Effect For The Granite Creek Area Of Prescott

A Flood Warning is in effect until 9:45 p.m. for along Granite Creek near Prescott. The National Weather Service says heavy rain was falling in the warning area and could affect Bannon Creek, Granite Creek, Willow Creek, Butte Creek and Miller Creek. Some of the locations expected to experience flooding include Prescott near Granite Creek, White Spar Campground and low-lying areas of State Route 89. If you come to a flooded roadway or crossing, use caution or just don’t cross. More than an inch of rain could far through tomorrow in these already saturated areas.
