The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for portions of northern and central Arizona today. The watch will be in effect from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. for the Greater Flagstaff Area, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Williams, Holbrook, Winslow, the Navajo Nation and the White Mountains. Forecasters say flooding could take place due to excessive rainfall. Flash flooding could be possible in creeks, normally dry washes and recently burned areas.
