Organizers of the annual Lights on the Lawn event on Fourth of July have decided to cancel the fireworks show due to the city’s Stage Four fire restrictions and the ongoing fire threat. Other events tied to Lights on the Lawn are still planned. Event organizers said in a statement on their Facebook page Thursday, “we will not have the free general admission area, food trucks, retail vendors or kid zone. This decision was very difficult to make but this is a year of stay, play responsibly and that is what we will be doing.” For more information and to buy tickets, head over to the Lights on the Lawn Facebook page. Chino Valley and Williams has also cancelled fireworks shows this year.
