Flagstaff Students To Ask Questions Of Space Station Astronaut Wednesday

Students from Coconino High School, and area Flagstaff Unified School District schools, will be speaking with Astronaut Anne McClain aboard the International Space Station tomorrow morning. The event will be hosted by Coconino High School during a 20 minute window when the ISS flies over Flagstaff from 11:25 until 11:45 a.m. Lowell Observatory is coordinating the event as part of Flagstaff’s Lunar Legacy. The observatory will be open for free public admission the morning of the event. The Lunar Legacy is a year-long celebration with free lectures and events throughout the year that highlight Flagstaff’s legacy in the Apollo mission and future space exploration.
