Flagstaff residents can get rid of their fresh-cut Christmas trees by utilizing the city’s treecycling program. The program will take your tree and use them as mulch at the city’s landfill. To get rid of your tree you can place it on the curb by 6 a.m. Monday morning. All trees will be picked up by next Friday. All tinsel, lights and ornaments need to be removed before getting rid of the tree. For those who can’t put them on a curb, you can take your tree to the Old Public Works Yard at 419 North Mogollon Street or the Continental Little League Field at the 57-hundred block of East Old Walnut Canyon Road.
