Flagstaff Fire Crews Put Out A Rubbish Fire Early Wednesday Morning

Flagstaff Fire crews battled a rubbish fire at the Waste Management facility on Flagstaff Ranch Road early Wednesday morning. First arriving crews found 50-foot flames in the debris piles. Ultimately, Waste Management personnel came to the facility and utilized heavy equipment to spread and churn the burning material, while fire crews put out the blaze using deck guns and hand lines. Crews remained at the scene for around four hours. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the blaze is not known.
