The Flagstaff Eagles trailed Grand Canyon region leader Lee Williams by 17 at one time, but they rallied in the second half, but fell short, losing to the Volunteers Wednesday night 58-55. Troy Yazzie led all scorers with 30 points and Marcus Crowther added nine in the loss. The win keeps Lee Williams in the lead in the region by a game in the loss column over Mingus and Coconino. The Eagles host the Mingus MaraUders Friday night on Senior Night before finishing the season at Coconino.
