A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect as the first big winter storm of the season makes its way through Northern Arizona. The advisory is in effect until 11 p.m. Thursday for areas above 65-hundred feet. Forecasters say to expect four-to-eight inches of snow in Flagstaff and Williams and two-to-four inches of snow in Doney Park. Drivers should plan on slippery road conditions, as well as patchy blowing snow which could reduce visibility significantly. If you are traveling, use caution and take your time getting to your destination.
