A Red Flag Warning and Wind Advisory is in effect for Northern Arizona until 7 p.m. The National Weather Service says the warning was issued due to forecasted winds 20-to-30 miles per hour with 45-to-55 mile-an-hour wind gusts possible. Areas in the warning zone include: the Greater Flagstaff Area, Prescott, Prescott Valley, the Navajo and Hopi nations, the White Mountains, Winslow and Holbrook. The warning also includes portions of all five national forests in Northern Arizona. A combination of high winds and low humidities is a possibility, which means if a fire starts, it won’t take long to grow and spread. If you are traveling, and driving a high profile vehicle, use caution.
