Fire Crews Battled A Structure Fire In The Grand Canyon National Park

Fire officials at the Grand Canyon responded to a structure fire in the National Park recently. The fire was reported back on May 18th at around midnight in a concessionaire housing area.
Before crews arrived, an employee used a fire extinguisher to put out most of the blaze. Firefighters were able to put out the fire completely. After the incident, an employee vehicle was found damaged and connected to a 21-year-old resident from Flagstaff, who is suspected of arson. The individual was arrested on DUI charges, and now will be facing arson, property damage, and trespassing charges as well.
