A multi-vehicle fatal accident closed Highway 89 Saturday near Gray Mountain. ADOT says the crash happened at Milepost 458. DPS says the accident involved a Jeep Compass traveling southbound at first, before crossing the centerline and colliding head-on with a Chevy Silverado. Two adult females and a female child were in the Silverado and sustained fatal injuries. DPS says two of the three occupants were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
