Early Voting In The Prescott Primary Begins Wednesday

Early voting begins Wednesday for the Prescott Primary Election. Early voting runs through Tuesday, August 27th. Mayor Greg Mengarelli is running unopposed in the primary, however four people are running for three spots on the Prescott City Council. Jim Lamerson, Billie Orr, Cathey Rusing and Steve Sischka are all running to be on council. Ballots will be mailed starting on Wednesday to all eligible voters. If you haven’t received your ballot by Friday, August 9th, contact the Yavapai County Recorder’s Office. You can also vote in person at the Recorder’s Office at 1015 Fair Street in Prescott, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Election Day until 7 p.m. For more information, contact the Recorder’s Office at (928) 771-3248.
