Driver Who Crashed, Survives Being Stuck In A Car For Nearly Two Days

A woman survived nearly two days after crashing 200 feet down an embankment about 10 miles north of Lake Pleasant on Castle Hot Spring Road. Morristown Fire Department and a Department of Public Safety helicopter responded to the scene Saturday morning, thirty-six hours after the accident. The woman was dehydrated and had non-life-threatening injuries. She said she survived off a few snacks and water she had with her in the vehicle. She was flown to a Phoenix hospital and is now recovering.
