One person was killed when the side-by-side he was driving rolled over on Senator Highway and down a cliff Thursday night in Prescott. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report at around 8 p.m. by a passenger of the vehicle. He said he and the driver had rolled down the side of the road, about 100-to-150 feet down a very steep cliff. Groom Creek and Prescott fire crews arrived and found the driver pinned under the rear of the vehicle unconscious, with the passenger trapped in the passenger compartment. Crews were able to roll the vehicle over and free them both. Crews started CPR on the driver, but unfortunately after an hour, he was pronounced dead.
