Yet another fire is sweeping through Northern Arizona. The Double Fire was reported Sunday at around 4:10 p.m. It is located just two miles south/southwest of the origin of the Haywire Fire. The Double Fire is currently zero percent contained and has burned five-hundred acres. The cause of the fire is unknown but it is suspected to be a lightning strike from last week’s storm. The Coconino National Forest has closed most of the entire northern part of the forest from I-40 toward the north.
