Sunday was Day Eight of Yavapai Silent Witness’ “Catch 22” program, focusing on finding 35-year-old Kevin Kristopher Segaye. Back on August 1st, 2011, Segaye was at a Chino Valley home in the 16-hundred block of State Route 89, visiting a man. Later that evening, the man’s wife went into a bathroom and Segaye followed her. Segaye then assaulted the woman. Her husband asked him to leave multiple times and he refused and continued to assault her. It wasn’t until the man grabbed a knife and threatened Segaye that he finally left. Segaye was arrested and convicted of unlawful imprisonment, sexual abuse and criminal trespass. He was placed on probation, which he has since violated. He now has a bond of $25-thousand and a nationwide extraditable warrant. Segaye is a Native American man, five-feet-eleven inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in Chino Valley. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to his arrest. If anyone has information on Segaye’s whereabouts, contact Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip online at yavapaisw.com.
